How Yahtzee is scored
Thirteen turns each and thirteen boxes to spend them on. Every box is used once in a game, and the highest card at the end wins.

Three of a kind and four of a kind are the boxes people get wrong. The box needs the matching dice, but what is written down is the total of all five, the odd ones included.

Filling it in
Write a name at the top of each column if the sheet is for one game between several players, or a game number if it is one player’s pad for six games.
Every box is used once. If nothing fits, a box has to be taken at zero, so write the 0 in: an empty box then always means a turn still to come.
Add the six number boxes first. The bonus is 35 if they come to 63 or more, which is three of each number, and it goes in its own row before the lower section is added.

Is the score sheet free?
Yes, it costs nothing. It needs a SquareScores account, which is free as well and is one tap with Apple or Google. Make one and you come straight back to this page to download.
Which paper sizes does it come in?
US Letter and A4, as two separate PDFs. Each is laid out for its own paper with half an inch of margin, so nothing is cut off and nothing has to be shrunk to fit.
How many games fit on one sheet?
Six. Each column is a game, which is how a Yahtzee pad is laid out, or a player if one sheet is being shared for a single game.
How do you get the 35 point bonus?
Score 63 or more across ones to sixes. Sixty-three is three of each number, so four sixes puts you six ahead of the pace and two ones puts you one behind it.
What is the row for extra yahtzees?
Every yahtzee after the first earns a bonus of 100, as long as the Yahtzee box was scored as 50 and not taken at zero. Tally them in that row and add 100 for each.
Can I print more than one?
As many as you like, and photocopy them too. The sheet is for your own table, your club or your classroom.
